LINDA DORADO- CORWIN

Lead Vocals / Percussion

Kingman based singer-songwriter Linda has an extraordinary way of cutting straight through to the core of her “listener’s” emotions.   With a passion for songwriting running through her veins from an early age, Linda’s heartfelt lyrics and sparkling melodies expose a truly sensitive artist whose soul-shattering vocals have the power to raise an emotional response.

Working for the late Michael Jackson in 1984 Linda went into partnership with

Mr. Jackson’s sound technician.  Together they formed “Center Stage Entertainment”, an accomplished karaoke business that Linda ran.  Although singing karaoke was gratifying, she wanted to fulfill her dream of singing with a band.

Relocating to Kingman in 1995, Linda met her mentor and longtime friend, Thomas Hardy.  Tom was an accomplished musician who played lead guitar in southern California and Arizona as “The Tommy Tucker Band” and, “The Arizona Drifter’s”.  His style was that of Les Paul and Chet Atkins.

After hearing Linda sing, he invited her to sing with his then current band “Fifth Wheel” a Classic Country Western band.  This opened many doors for Linda, singing with various bands in the area and learning many styles of music including; Country, Standards, Blues, and Jazz.

In 2018 Linda started two successful bands of her own.  “Arizona Thunder” (classic country, classic rock, Cajun, and pop) and “Moonlight Savoy” (old-time favorites from the ’20s - '50s). She attributes this to hard work, commitment, and a wonderful dedicated team of musicians.
